Here is a list of books that I love! I have read all of them
at least three times!

Gone With The Wind
I first read this book in the fifth grade. I got a copy from my Aunt
Tenna. I loved it so much!
Then, when I was in sixth grade, the movie
was re-released, and I got to go see it
in the theater. I was in heaven!
Margaret Mitchell wrote a winner!

The Stand
I love Stephen King, and this is my favorite book of his. The ultimate
clash between good and evil.
It was a big book to begin with, and
then they came out with the unabridged edition! I was so
excited to read
the expanded version. And I was still sorry when it ended.

The Bourne Identity
This book was my introduction to Robert Ludlum, and it has remained
a favorite.
International intrigue and espionage. A classic!

Fried Green Tomatoes
I saw the movie and had to read the book. The movie was good, but the
book is better! It is a must read.
Fannie Flagg also wrote one called
"Daisy Fay and the Miracle Man." Well worth reading.

The Prince of Tides
This is one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read. You
can see and feel everything
Pat Conroy described. Not a "feel good" book,
but thought provoking and insightful.

Cold Sassy Tree
A charming book, told from the perspective of a young boy in the south.
The story centers on the relationship of the boy's grandfather, who
scandalizes the town of Cold Sassy when he marries a much younger woman.

A Season in Purgatory
Dominick Dunne writes a compelling story. I love all of his books, but
this one stands out as my favorite.
Very readable, good mystery, good
gossipy entertainment.

The Far Pavillions
M.M. Kaye was raised in India, and tells beautifully written stories
of when the English occupied India.
This particular story centers
around the (mostly) unrequited love between an
English officer and an Indian
princess. It is wonderful!
